Week 7: First week in the field: worst nightmare comes true... August 17-23, 2021
Hello Everyone! This week was pure craziness. Saying goodbyes really sucks. And I was really sad to say goodbye to District 15D. I love you all so much!! You guys are going to kill it out in the mission field. And then saying goodbye to my family. Ugh. The airport was so hard. I gave them all a hug and kind of just went for it. I knew if I looked back I wouldn't be able to do it. But I made it to the mission in one piece! The flight wasn't too bad except for a really embarrassing moment... I accidentally got tangled in a cord as I was practically climbing over someone. I finally made it into the aisle and then the flight attendants walked down with a huge cart so I had to again climb over that person. Yikes. I just sat there thinking that of course this is how I start my mission. After meeting President Rodarte and his amazing wife, I was driven out to Kingman, Arizona! Oh my goodness. I LOVE it here!!
