Week 18: Falling for Jesus November 2-8, 2021




 Hey Everyone                                                                              November 08, 2021

I'm gonna try and keep this short because I'm typing with one hand and its just not fun. 

This week was a little weird. On Wednesday, I fell off my bike and got pretty banged up and hurt my right hand pretty bad. Went to the hospital and got x-rayed. Nothing is broken but I'm super bruised and swollen and hurt. Hence the one hand thing. 

Everyone asks about what happened so it's a great conversation starter but then everyone just laughs when they find out what happened. 

It's been a really hard week and of course we finished the week with transfer news. Hermana Jenkins is leaving me but I'm staying in Paraiso! I'm so sad to say goodbye to her and most of my district. I'm also being put in a trio too. I'll let you guys know how that goes... my hypothesis is I'm going to be heading over to Guatemala soon too. 

Even though this week was hard, I was able to see the Lord's hand in my life. Even when I was upset with Him, He still cared for me and helped me through the hard times. He will always help! Turn to Him!

Week 60: September 1-7, 2022 I know this church is Christ's Church

  Helloooo!                                                                                         September 7, 2022   This week was super eventful. The boys that were baptized last Wednesday were confirmed in church on Sunday. It was so sweet to see them in their white shirt and tie. One of them bore their testimony and at the end said so powerfully, "I know this church is Christ's church." It touched my heart so much to hear that.  We had a bad rainstorm on Monday.
