Week 22: November 30 - December 6, 2021 The Week We Got Kidnapped
Hey Everyone-
We has such an amazing zone conference this week. I love the Rodarte's.
After zone conference, someone we are teaching invited us over to help her sort dolls. She picked us up and had bought freaking olive garden for us. It was so sweet. We had great conversations with her and her family (they are so cool). She told us she would also drive us home. It's getting pretty late so we agreed and she starts driving in the wrong direction. We ask if she needs our address and she tells us she's just taking the long way home... I definitely thought it was sketch but like fine. And then she turned down a dark alleyway. I was like shooootttt we are gonna dieeee. But then she turned into the pinkbox donut parking lot and bought us donuts! Scary but it turned out pretty amazing.
We also had the opportunity to help set up for a wedding for someone in our ward. It was beautiful and fun and Hermana Betis taught me how to dance ♡
I love all the people we are teaching but I definitely have my favorites... Elena and Ysabell are two little girls we are teaching and they're just so adorable. They really want to be baptized but their mom says no because she thinks the dad (who is a member) is pressuring them. We got to actually meet their mom this week and I think we made a good impression so hopefully that helps them out haha. We would definitely appreciate prayers for these girls to be baptized and for their mom to let them.
I love working with the youth and primary kids. It's especially nice because they all speak English haha. I love Spanish but it's nice to talk in English still. We got to teach primary this week and it was so great because Elena and Ysabell were there and they loved it so much and were able to participate. We taught the primary the plan of salvation so we could help them better understand Doctrine and Covenants sections 137-138. We told them they would get to see God again one day and a little boy, YanCarlos, got so excited and was so happy we get to see our Heavenly Father again. It was so adorable!
I love you all! Heavenly Father loves you! Jesus loves you! Have a wonderful week.
Con amor,
Hermana Snow
