Week 24: December 14-20, 2021

 

Hey Everyone                                                                               December 20, 2021

 

This week has been crazy. It seemed so fast but also twelve years long. But I'll get right to it so it's not a Bible long email :) 

 

Temple! 

We got to go to the temple this week!! It was so so amazing. I haven't been able to go to the temple since home mtc and that was like 4 lifetimes ago. I have to say though, the Las Vegas temple really is kinda weird looking on the outside. I think it looks like an upside down cockroach... but it's still the house of the Lord and an amazing place to be. I always feel so loved and at peace after visiting the temple 

 

Trio!

I was in a trio for two days and it was so great! Sister Edwards was going home but her flight wasn't until Thursday. I got to learn so much from her! It was hard to send someone home and not go home myself... 

 

Kidnapped again?

Well more like held hostage. We went over to this lady's to teach her English. But she was throwing a Christmas party and forgot about English class. Well we tried to leave but she wouldn't let us and forced us to eat like 4 tacos before we could leave. It was great haha but I was so full. 

 

There was a pretty hard day this week and I prayed again asking Heavenly Father to help me find the joy in this work. The next day we saw so many amazing miracles. He really does hear our prayers and what's to help us in all we do!

Week 60: September 1-7, 2022 I know this church is Christ's Church

  Helloooo!                                                                                         September 7, 2022   This week was super eventful. The boys that were baptized last Wednesday were confirmed in church on Sunday. It was so sweet to see them in their white shirt and tie. One of them bore their testimony and at the end said so powerfully, "I know this church is Christ's church." It touched my heart so much to hear that.  We had a bad rainstorm on Monday.
