Week 26: Rollercoaster Ride December 28, 2021 - January 3, 2022



 Hey Everyone,                                                                                    January 3, 2022

 

Missions are rollercoasters that's for sure. And this week was a very high and very low week. 

On Tuesday we had our first ever full exchange with some of our sisters as STLs. It was genuinely so fun! I really got to know one of the sisters during our time together. I love this side of being an STL. I was so nervous to do it because I often feel like I have no idea what's going on and like I'm not doing enough even though I'm trying my hardest. But spending this time with other sister missionaries was so good! I felt like we were building each other up and helping each other feel the importance and joy of this work. 

On the flip side, some of our leaders in the zone took it upon themselves to criticize us and everyone in the zone. It was a rough couple days for us. But we had some great companion bonding and love from others. I also really felt God's love for me during this time. Even if others or even you can't see your worth, all souls are great in the sight of God (Doctrine and covenants 18:10).

Week 60: September 1-7, 2022 I know this church is Christ's Church

  Helloooo!                                                                                         September 7, 2022   This week was super eventful. The boys that were baptized last Wednesday were confirmed in church on Sunday. It was so sweet to see them in their white shirt and tie. One of them bore their testimony and at the end said so powerfully, "I know this church is Christ's church." It touched my heart so much to hear that.  We had a bad rainstorm on Monday.
