Week 47: Interesting June 2-8, 2022
This week was interesting, like always
haha!
As nurses we have to write a report about
everything that happened in the week. We usually send about 9-14 missionaries
to the doctor in a week so it takes a long time. And we also work with the
insurance so that rakes a long time. We go to the mission office to do it but
the APs don't want us going anymore (
) so we had to do it from
home. (Wasn't fun) but with Hermana Vela everything is fun so it turned out OK.
I just felt the spirit so much this week. We
had quite a few noches de hogar with members. I just love having lessons with
members. I always feel the spirit so much in their homes. When we do this we
normally share the restoration through the restoration proclamation. I am so
grateful grateful the restoration!!! I remember at the beginning of my mission
sharing that and loving it. But over time it's kind of become routine for me
(oops). This week my goal was to make it more personal, to help the people I
share it with know that it has personal meaning for each of them. And holy cow.
It was an amazing week because of that!
I hit 11 months on the mission this week woo
woo! Loving it 
We also had transfers. And we are staying
together another transfer!!! 
We had an interesting experience this week. we
went and visited someone we are teaching. He always reads the chapters we leave
from the bom but can't make it to church because his family won't let him even
though he's 28. But we got there and I could smell cigarette smoke so strong.
But he wasn't smoking. Well his mom shows up like 5 min into the lesson and
blows a huge cloud of smoke into our faces and basically told us to get off her
property or else 
he texted us
later and apologized for a ton and said that he's trying to move out so he can keep listening.
I feel like this is the longest email I've
written in a while so I'll just finish up with an invitation. Study the
Restoration Proclamation and read the first vision. It's amazing how much you can
feel God's love through these documents!
